Responsibilities

The video library consists of 1000s of hours of underwater and terrestrial footage from South East Asia and around the world.  This is available to view online to clients from corporate, TV and advertising industry who license clips directly from us for their various productions.

You will play a crucial role in the Film Library department and the position would be ideal for a new graduate with a background or passion for marine or biological sciences.

The role would include but is not limited to;

• Liaising with clients to understand their requests
• Researching into shots from clients’ brief
• Negotiating license fee with client and understanding their usage requirements
• Delivery of high resolution clips via ftp
• Writing of shot descriptions and keywords
• Working along side our in-house editor to select appropriate clips for corporate and in-house edits

Requirements

The ideal candidate would have:

• Good written English and professional email etiquette
• Marine biology background (preferable but not essential – at minimum an interest in underwater and wildlife)
• Fast and accurate word processing skills
• Great written and oral English communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Accurate, dedicated and hard working
• Good organization and administration skills
• Good time management
• Enthusiasm

All specific training will be given on the job so willingness to learn and the ability to adapt and pick up new skills quickly are a must.
