Responsibilities
- To assist in managing the whole spectrum of the finance function including building a strong internal control environment and providing meaningful financial information for decision making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation regulations and other regulatory requirements.
- To play a key role in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing procedures including preparation of statutory financial statements and relevant disclosures.
- To prepare/ monitor/ evaluate the financial/ business plans, including annual budgets, financial forecast and cashflow projections.
- To conduct financial reviews and analysis of companies/ projects within the Group.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, customs, consultants and local regulatory bodies.
- Participating in ad-hoc assignment.
Requirements
- Must possess professional accounting qualification or degree in accountancy or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in property development industry, handling full set of accounts.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for details and problem solving skills.
- Proven managerial and report writing skills and able to work in a team based environment under minimal supervision and tight deadline
- Able to communicate with all levels, assertive, initiative and encourage team work.
- Possess leadership skills and results oriented.
