Assistant Production Manager - the W group

Responsibilities

• Responsible to assist the Senior Production Manager to Plan, Organize and Lead the overall production operations in WCI Sandakan Factory to achieve BOD's production targets.
• Accountable for the full spectrum of the Production Operations.   
• The candidate must be a hands-on production operation and have factory machinery maintenance exposure.                                                                                                                                                 
• Responsible to assist the SPM on all aspects of production operation support to the Company. This will include but is not limited, to core areas such as management reporting, production planning, operation management, maintenance management, manpower and any related production activities.
• Ensures that all above mentioned activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner, sets targets for the team members and provide the necessary coaching to further optimize performance.
• Responsible for the process improvement and enhancement of the Company's operations.
• Responsible for ensuring that production and factory maintenance - preventive & scheduled  standards established are adhered to.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma or Academic or Professional Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Academic or Professional Degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering / Machinery Maintenance or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of working exposure in the related field with major exposure in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering / Machinery Maintenance or related discipline.
• Competent in management reporting, ISO, production admin system and related matters.
• Must be able to communicate (read and write) in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Knowledge of Chinese an added advantage.
