Laboratory Research Assistant - Yanmar Kota Kinabalu R&D Center Sdn. Bhd.

Responsibilities

To implement and conduct research/analysis/experiments/application for research project
Responsible in the setting up and upkeep of science laboratory, laboratory equipment, chemicals and any other related laboratory items for the purpose of experiments and R&D activities
Responsible for lab & glassware cleanliness, lab analysis, operating analytical instrument/equipment, assisting in the implementation of the laboratory system and any related technical matters.
To ssist in the development of analytical procedures and methods of analysis
Coordinating research work and laboratory testing activities and process troubleshooting
Responsible for the accuracy & interpretation of analysis data and for assuring laboratory tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Responsible for maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
To keep an inventory and mantain proper stock/materials records used in the laboratory.

Requirements

 

• Possess Bachelor Engineering (Chemical Engineering) or relevant qualifications in any science background.
• 1 - 2 years related working experience in R&D field would be an advantage
• Experience in analytical chemistry, instrumentation, process engineering & data evaluation would be an added advantage
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Proficient in technical report, proposal writingand technical presentation.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kota Kinabalu
• Full-time position
• Possess own transport
• Ability to work in team and independently with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal skills, result-oriented with proven qualities
• Computer literate/internet
