Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Work as part of an interdisciplinary team and coordinate all data activities required to initiate, maintain and complete study areas, both domestically and internationally.
2. Develop and maintain documentation and data management guidelines.
3. Develop study data base.
4. Review, analyse, and validate study data to ensure consistency, integrity and accuracy based on project specific guidelines.
5. Maintain study data accuracy through review of relevant case report forms / surveys for completeness and consistency.
6. Manage the study data through review, computerisation, cleaning of data and data bases to a high standard.
7. Data entry.
8. Generate data retrievals and summaries.
9. Review study data and assist with the resolution of data queries.
10. Establish and maintain effective communication and data transfer with national and international collaborators.
11. Participate in reporting research progress including writing reports etc as appropriate.
12. Travel to study sites based on project needs.
13. Perform other duties as may reasonably be required by IDSKKS.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): MS Access.
- Required language(s): English
- At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Kudat Hospital.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.
- Full-Time and Contract position available.
Company Overview
The Infectious Disease Society Kota Kinabalu Sabah (IDSKKS) is an entity that conducting a public health research in Sabah. As well as collaborate with national organisation such as the Clinical Research Centre (CRC), Sabah, IDSKKS works closely with local government hospital and several international partners, including the Menzies School of Health Research (Menzies), Australia.
The Malaria project is a collaboration between our Society and some of the international researchers in Sabah, Malaysia. Funded by the United Kingdom Medical Research Council, the project has been granted to the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a consortium of international partners, including Menzies. The project utilises an interdisciplinary approach to research malaria at two study sites in Sabah, which is Kudat and Kota Marudu.
