vacancy : CONTRACTS MANAGER - Waterfront Urban Development Sdn Bhd

Responsibilities

Establish in-house procedures for the administration of all contracts and design the necessary templates and forms for control of QS functions, contractors’ and suppliers’ claims.
Develop project budgets and cash flows in consultation with project QS consultants, site management team and finance department.
Preparation of tender documents and review all tenders, pre-qualification of contractors and assessment of tenders.
Liaise with consultants and contractors on all contractual matters including delays, extension of time, variations, warranties and any other matters pertaining to contracts.
Preparation of monthly cost, budget and variance reports.
All other duties pertaining to administration of contracts department.

Requirements

• Possess a strong diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or Project Management.
• At least 12 years’ experience in contracts administration with demonstrated ability to analyze and understand commercial conditions of all contracts and able to apply and comply with statutory legislation and regulations.
• Possesses good analytical and problem solving skills, self-driven and able to work with minimum supervision. 
• Computer literacy with knowledge in MS Project and MS Office (Excel & Powerpoint) essential.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight datelines.
