Horticulture & Aquaculture Research Assistant - Yanmar Kota Kinabalu R&D Center Sdn. Bhd.

Responsibilities

To implement and conduct research/analysis experiments for R&D project
To set up and upkeep of research field facilities, fish and plants, an any other related items for the purpose of experiment and R&D activities
Coordinating research field & laboratory working as well as process troubleshooting
Responsible for operation and management of fish and plants nursery, installation and maintenance of machineries/equipments

Requirements

• Preferbly Degreee or highly educated in Agriculture / Aquaculture or relevant qualifications in any science background.
  • Background Sustainable Agriculture:-
  • Experience plants fertilizer chemical research and analysis
  • Experience plantation operation / supervisor
  • Experience agriculture engineering
  • Experience aquatic water quality research and analysis
  • Basic knowledge of fish nutrition and feeds research
  • Basic knowledge of fish rearing and plants cultivation
  • Basic knowledge of chemical operation
• 1-2 years related working experience in R&D field would be an advantage
• Good communication and writing in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Speaking skills of Japanese will be an advantage
• Good health and energetic
  • Successful candidate will be require to work under the sun from time to time for data collection
• Computer literate
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) 
• Willingness to work during weekend if project required
• Ability to work in team and independently with minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal skills, result-oriented with proven qualities, goal acheivement, enthusiastic on research
• Possess driving licence (Class D)
• Applicants must willing to work in Kota Kinabalu
• Full-time position
• Possess own transport
