vacancy: Automation Engineer - Sabah Forest Industries Sdn. Bhd.
Responsibilities
- To ensure problem-free operation of all process control system by Maintenance in mill.
- To inform and update the Production Department of the planning of periodic or preventive maintenance.
- To continuously making changes for improvements by structuring and programming of process control system.
- To continuously improve control loops performance of advanced kind and to provide support to technicians/foreman regarding simple loops.
- To make proper decision on the priority of maintenance work and to ensure that sufficient manpower and material resources are available in is responsible areas.
- To participate in trouble-shooting personally and eliminating of complicated failures in the system in a reasonable time frame.
- To be able to make changes in programming of existing or new automation system as to the plant requirement within the allocated time given.
- To be responsible for the availability and updating of documentations for his areas of responsibilities. To ensure that schedule monthly and yearly backup procedure are done for mill wide DCS/QCS programs.
- To take part in establishment of budget within the area of activity and to monitor all expenses as not to exceeds budget.
- To plan and monitor the needs of spares within his area and to ensure that monthly consumption is within the monthly budget.
- To be responsible for the safety of subordinated personnel by having zero injuries or fatality.
- To act, when needed as a facilitator in the company's internal training.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Sipitang.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent.
- Full-Time position(s) available.
