Design Development Centre (DDEC) is a full-service design, product and brand development, and marketing centre providing inspirational ideas and outstanding creative solutions for businesses. 
History
Set up by the Government, DDEC is a subsidiary of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and under the auspices of Ministry of Rural and Development.

The design services offered by DDEC: i) Communication Design ii) Product Design iii) Design Training and Certification


Responsibilities


1. Maintains communication between business team members in peninsular and Sabah Region by preparing weekly, and month-end reports regarding operations and productivity.
2. Formulates recommendations and provides feedback to management regarding operational policies and procedures.
3. Engage in new business presentations and spec work for potential clients.
4. Interact regularly with related department as needed for completion of assigned projects.
5. Maintains control over audit procedures to ensure compliances with controls. If weaknesses are identified, reports them to the Senior Manager of Business Development & Commercialisation Department.
6. Monitors office activity, including number of transactions, sales volume and etc.
7. Monitors quality of service given to clients, and ensures that skill and capabilities are maximizing opportunities to sell products and service.
8. Represents DDEC in Sabah in any program and event that benefited to the business. 

Requirements


  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position available.
  • Good interpersonal, presentation & communication skills.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Kota Kinabalu & travelling.
