Responsibilities
- To implement, monitor, maintain and improve occupational safety & health management system and compliances;
- To develop Safety and Health working programmes and strategies;
- To perform routine audit and inspection throughout the plantation and mills operations;
- To liaise with external government and non-government authorities to ensure compliance;
- To provide specialist advice and information on Safety and Health and supervise changes as required;
- To produce ad-hoc incident and scheduled reports on inspection investigation results;
- To provide and coordinate the necessary safety trainings.
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Recognized Professional Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Safety & Health Management and Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
- Green book holder.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the plantation and oil mill industry.
- Good knowledge of OSHA 1994, FMA 1967, CHRA, HIRARC and other related OSH legislations.
- Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be willing to travel extensively.
