Responsibilities
- Responsible for full spectrum of Human Resource functions including Manpower Planning, Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits & Welfares, Training & Development, and Employee Relations
- Involved in training and development of staff, conduct new employee orientation, scheduling and coordinating training courses and work closely with department managers on training and development programs
- Accountable for the overall HR budget; plan Employee Benefit and Welfare Services annually
- Work closely with all Department Heads to ensure optimal headcounts based on productivity-based resources and company’s objectives through annual manpower planning and forecasting.
- Plan, implement and monitor all types of policies, rules and regulations relating to personnel administration
- Handle all types if disciplinary actions relating to personnel and maintain close and direct contact with the department Managers in dealing with the actions
- Lead the Dispute Resolution Process (DRP) by hearing and resolving employee grievances
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource statutory requirements; conducting investigations and maintaining records.
- To coordinate immigration matters with local counsel and do submission of documents regarding application or renewal contract for expatriate to Immigration or Government bodies
- Establish strong business network with internal and external partners, i.e. recruitment/advertising agencies
- Oversee the payroll process and follow up on all employee manager inquiries on pay.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related task assigned as and when needed
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience, preferebly well versed and hands-on in Human Resources Operations
- Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills and good judgment
- Ability to execute HR policies independently with a clear sense of institutional needs and priorities
- Applicant must be able to work in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
