Store Manager (Based in Kota Kinabalu) Kim Hin Joo (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd - Mothercare

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are responsible 
• To manage the sales, operations and staff development of the store to achieve maximum profitability, compliance
• with company operating procedures, visual presentation and excellence in customer service
• To recruit, train and develop employees, and provide succession planning for everyone in your team
• To conduct on-the-job training and role modeling and deliver the ultimate customer experience
• To ensure that all back office procedures are up to standards (staff scheduling, cash office, deliveries, safety and security routines)
• Strategize with leadership to develop and execute store action plans to drive store productivity.
• Manage store maintenance issues

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
2. 5 –7 years of retail experience with a minimum of 3 years in a management role; store management experience preferred
3. Strong organizational ability, good leadership and interpersonal skills
4. Self-motivated and committed
5. Ability to challenge and influence operational processes
6. Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia is ideal
7.  Able to work weekends and public holidays
