Responsibilities

• To organize and conduct monthly F&B Marketing Meeting attended by Director of Public Relations, DOM, DOFB, EC, Outlet Managers and Purchasing. (as and when required). Coordinate meetings on upcoming promotions to set the direction for each outlet and responsible for issuing minutes.
• To seek partnership marketing opportunities through networking with vendors, banks, credit card companies, consumer brands, etc and responsible for the planning of all the business activities in F&B.
• Regularly attend local high profile social events.
• To ensure partners are of the same brand standing as Shangri-La and to upkeep our brand integrity.
• As appropriate, work with sister properties for promotions of signature restaurants.
• Must have an excellent knowledge on wine.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management, Marketing or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Tuaran.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and assist in all works related to sales cycle from approaching customers, preparing quotations to after sale customer service
• Heavily involved in product sales by approaching new and existing customers. Product sales involve the entire sales cycle from customer relationship building to sales follow up with customers on delivery arrangement etc.
• Able to handle customer requests and inquiries independently and professionallly. Speedy or instant execution is a MUST.
• Engage clients from multiple levels including end users, developers, contractors and project facilitators such as consultants, architects and government agency
• Sourcing and price negotiation of any relavant parts related to sales such as transportation and shipping
• Assists in serving job functions that support sales and marketing
• Analytic thinking with ability to process and compile data

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Engineering (for Sales Research Engineer) or Any field.
• Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Office, MS Powerpoint.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Junior and Senior Executives specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent
