Responsibilities

• Successful candidates will be assigned roles in sales, marketing and business development.
• Manage sales territory and distribution channel effectively and at optimum cost.
• Identify and secure business opportunity for growth through close cooperation with the channel.
• Implement channel programs efficiently and cost effectively to capture more market share.
• Collaborate closely with channel members in meeting the needs of the growers.
• Provide fast and accurate feedbacks on market information and on competition.

 

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in sales and/or marketing in the agriculture or related industry, however, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Mandarin speaking preferred.
• Independent & self-motivated.
• Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Good computer knowledge.
• 2 positions available - either Subang or Sabah based
• Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively.

Design Development Centre (DDEC) is a full-service design, product and brand development, and marketing centre providing inspirational ideas and outstanding creative solutions for businesses. 

History

Set up by the Government, DDEC is a subsidiary of Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and under the auspices of Ministry of Rural and Development.

Product & Services

The design services offered by DDEC: i) Communication Design ii) Product Design iii) Design Training and Certification

Responsibilities

1. Maintains communication between business team members in peninsular and Sabah Region by preparing weekly, and month-end reports regarding operations and productivity.

2. Formulates recommendations and provides feedback to management regarding operational policies and procedures.

3. Engage in new business presentations and spec work for potential clients.

4. Interact regularly with related department as needed for completion of assigned projects.

5. Maintains control over audit procedures to ensure compliances with controls. If weaknesses are identified, reports them to the Senior Manager of Business Development & Commercialisation Department.

6. Monitors office activity, including number of transactions, sales volume and etc.

7. Monitors quality of service given to clients, and ensures that skill and capabilities are maximizing opportunities to sell products and service.

8. Represents DDEC in Sabah in any program and event that benefited to the business. 

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Public Relations/Communications or equivalent.
• Full-Time position available.
• Good interpersonal, presentation & communication skills.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kota Kinabalu & travelling.
