ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT / SENIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
Perform full set of management accounts.
Maintain fixed asset register.
Oversee GL, AR and AP modules.
Assist in compilation of information to prepare Cash Flow, Forecasts and Annual Budget.
Liaise with both internal and external parties including financial institutions, auditor, tax agents, tax authorities, company secretaries, government bodies for statutory and legislative requirements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Make recommendation, and perform execution and maintenance of credit control policies and procedures.
Carry out credit management tasks including trouble shooting collections and aging analysis.
Identify and highlight potential debt exposures, credit issues and recommend corrective action to minimize the risk of bad debt.
Undertake other adhoc assignments as required from time to time by the management.
Requirements:
Candidate(s) must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma,
Professional Degree in Finance or Accountancy or equivalent. Possess minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in full set accounts in an executive position.
Well versed with Malaysian law for litigation cases, its procedures and such.
Conversant in English, Bahasa Malaysia and preferably some Chinese dialects.
Must be computer literate.
Preferably with knowledge of SAP.
Good analytical and communications skills.
Integrity, initiative and able to work independently.
Willing to be based at Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP), Sepanggar.
Willing to work outstation in Sarawak.
