Responsibilities
- Assist in managing Accounts Department Prepare timely and accurate financial report
- Assist in establishing accounting policies Implement internal controls
- Liaise with auditors and tax agent Ensure compliance with accounting standards adopted in Malaysia and Singapore Ensure compliance with laws and regulations in Malaysia and Singapore
- Assist in ERP system implementation
- Possibility of overseas posting
Requirements
- Professional accreditation with MICPA, ACCA, ASCPA, MIA, CIMA or a good accounting degree (minimum 2nd Class Upper)
- 4 to 5 years’ audit experience in one of the big four audit firms, preferably held the position of Audit Senior and above
- Conversant in audit, accounting and taxation matters
- Experience in a fast moving manufacturing environment will be an added advantage
- Able to work under pressure and meet accounting deadlines
- Familiar with computerized accounting systems, especially Navision
- Analytical and meticulous for details
- High integrity and able to work independently
- A team player who is self motivated
- Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
